This is a piece about the showcase we had. I’m really proud of this piece and I hope you like it. My natural disaster was: volcano.
Mums car pulls up at school. As soon as I hop out the car I see kids running into the school gates. I see my friends walk into the school gates. I run to meet them. Finally the learning gallery doors open. Everyone runs in, filled with excitement. We sat down on the floor. Waiting for the teachers to talk. But instead they play a video, reflecting on our term. Then its time to go behind our table filled with our work. As I walk to my table I look at other peoples work. It looks pretty good. But I remind myself how proud I am of my work. I finally make it to my table. I practice my questions, over and over so everyone can have a good answer. People walk past my stand admiring my work but not asking questions. But then someone with a dark outfit approached me. She seemed kind as she proceeded to ask me questions. I felt pretty proud when I answered the questions. The night definitely put smile on my face. It also made me extremely proud of my work too.
Here’s some of my work from the showcase!
