Dangerous journeys to school
It’s cold and windy. It seems like I’ve been walking forever but I don’t have long to go. I come to end of the steep mountain. The old broken bridge creeks in the strong wind. I’ve seen kids fall in the water. But if I want good education I have to take ricks. So I take a big breath in and step on the bridges. The trees sway in the wind and water rushes rapidly. As I side step across the bridge. My heart beats faster and harder. The bridge wobbles. My heart skips a beat. I start to breathe harder. And I get so much scared than I already was. I just wish that I could close my eyes and magically appear. But my family is too poor to move closer to school. Over the rocks and around the bend that’s where my school will end.
